PALOUSE: AUTUMN

Joso railroad trestle crossing the Snake River at Lions Gate State Park. On Highway 261 in Central Washington State, this trestle crosses the Snake adjacent to the oldest extant steel cantilever bridge in the state, The Snake River Bridge. Both of these structures are impressive pieces of infrastructure in a part of the state where comparatively little is built.
