PALOUSE: AUTUMN

Vantage point on Highway 95 near the Salmon River in central Idaho. The Palouse region is a large prairie in the Inland Pacific Northwest that spills from Eastern Washington into Northern Idaho. It lies lies 160 miles north of the Oregon Trail and is fed by the Clearwater and Snake rivers, which run into the Columbia.
